We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist to help design, develop, and deploy predictive models for industrial biogas processes.
You will work closely with data engineers, product teams, and domain experts to transform complex operational and biological data into actionable intelligence.

• 3–5 years experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience developing machine learning models with PyTorch
• Solid understanding of ML, statistics, and time-series analysis
• Experience working with real-world, messy datasets
• Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Experience with industrial or IoT data
• Knowledge of thermodynamic systems or industrial reactor processes
• Knowledge of Kalman filters
• Familiarity with Databricks
• Experience with MLOps or deploying models into production
• Experience with optimization or control systems

• Work on hybrid modeling combining physics and machine learning
• Use unique datasets combining sensors, lab data, and microbiome DNA
• Build models that directly impact real industrial plants
• Move from research to production in a fast-moving environment
• Build predictive models and optimization models for industrial processes
• Perform advanced feature engineering
• Analyze and combine multi-source datasets
• Contribute to hybrid modeling approaches combining domain knowledge and machine learning
• Develop model evaluation and validation frameworks
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy models into production
